Robina grew up in Providence in the Armenian Church and graduated from Central High School. She once played tennis with the great Bill Tilden. In 1952 Robina became a Catholic at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Whitestone, NY. In 1953 Robina received a BS in Nursing degree from St. John’s University and an MS degree in guidance counseling and was a guidance counselor at Bethpage High School.
