A Fond Farewell to your Beloved Friend
As life-long pet owners, we felt that there was a need and desire in our community for professional, personalized pet cremation services. As funeral professionals, we are uniquely qualified to perform this service. Therefore, we now have The Island Pet Cremation Services, where your pet will be treated with the utmost care and respect.

The Island Pet Cremation Services provides individualized, private, prompt cremation services exclusively for pets. We also offer:

The prompt return of your pet’s cremated remains within three to five days (not including holidays), and often it will take less time.
The opportunity to personally attend your pet’s cremation.
A professional cremation facility.
Attentive, knowledgeable counselors who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Transportation of your pet from your home or veterinarian.
You may also choose to bring your pet to us at either of our two convenient locations: 49 Brown’s Cove Road in Riverwalk Business Park, Okatie or The Island Funeral Home and Crematory, 4 Cardinal Road, Hilton Head Island. If you choose to bring your beloved pet to us, please call to let us know you will be arriving at 843-681-4400.
An extensive selection of pet urns including the options of hardwood, brass, glass, marble and granite (or you may choose to use our temporary receptacle).
The opportunity to use our complimentary pre-arrangement services.

To arrange for our services, simply call us and we will guide you through the process. We will ask that you give us some information about your pet and that you sign an authorization for the cremation.

You may ask your veterinarian to contact us for you and we will work with them directly.

Pet Cremation Pricing

Services We Offer
Cremation Price: $225: includes a Certificate of Cremation and a temporary urn which may be used for burial. Cremated remains are ready in three to five days (not including holidays or weekends).

Residential or Veterinarian Transfer
Monday through Friday between 9 am & 5:30 pm within our local service area (Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Sun City, Okatie) $25.

After 5:30 pm weekdays, on weekends and holidays, an additional fee of $ 100.00 will apply. Outside of our local service area, there will be an additional charge of $3.00 per mile.

For all services, after 5:30 pm on weekdays, on weekends and holidays, an after hours fee of $50 will apply.

Merchandise Available
Cremation Urns - almost any urn we have can be engraved and personalized within one week.

Additional services and options are available. Please inquire for options and pricing.

To arrange for our services all you need to do is call us and we will guide you through the process. After your call, we will go to your veterinarian or your home to transfer your pet into our care at Riverwalk Business Park or you may bring your pet to either of our two locations - by appointment, please.
