Russell A. Demers

Russ has been employed with The Island Funeral Home and Crematory since March of 2008, first as an Apprentice Embalmer/Funeral Director and currently as a licensed Funeral Director.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and is currently completing his funeral service education in restorative arts.

He is married to Corinn Martens and they have five grown children, Jessica, Erin, Kelli, James and Amanda.

He is a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Beaufort, South Carolina and his interests include camping, fishing, reading about the Lowcountry, painting, and drawing.
